The Software Engineering team delivers next-generation application enhancements and new products for a changing world. What you’ll achieve

As a Senior Software Escalation Engineer- Edge in the Edge Engineering Development Team you will support a new platform entering the market.

You will:

• Be a member of the Escalation Engineering team for our Edge offering working proactively with the developers to ensure quality and serviceability for the Edge products
• Work with Dell support engineers on issues that require engineering intervention while working with with customers to mitigate issues and enhance their experience with Dell
• Work with the development team on procedures and processes to support the product
• Review documentation to include product documents, release notes, and procedures
• May require nights or weekend work or being in an on-call rotation

Essential Requirements

• 4- 6 years experience in technical support/ escalation engineering
• Experience in software testing/ troubleshooting
• Coding skills e.g. Python or other coding languages
• Experience working and troubleshooting directly with customers (internal and external)
